Strawberries🍓 prefer fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter, with a slightly acidic pH (5.5-6.5).
It is not recommended to plant strawberries in waterlogged soils. Strawberries love the sun, so do not plant them in shaded areas.🙂
For the proper growth and development of strawberry plants, proper care is essential, including providing adequate irrigation and regular fertilization, protection against various pathogens (without traditional pesticides, preferably using so-called bio-preparations).
Protection of strawberries from weed infestation (mulching with <b>black agrotextile</b>) and from freezing (covering plants at the beginning of winter with <b>white agrotextile</b> or straw) is also important.
