• Moving containers to a sheltered location: It’s best to place them in a cool, but not freezing, room, such as a garage or basement.
• Protecting containers from frost: Wrapping containers with insulating material, like agrotextile, can protect the roots from the cold.
• Limiting watering: Before winter arrives, moderately water the strawberries, but avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
  
• Ensuring ventilation:If the strawberries are stored indoors, make sure there is good air circulation.
