SHOULD I WATER STRAWBERRIES IN WINTER?

This is rarely practised, but it cannot be ruled out that such a need will sometimes arise. We should remember that strawberries that do not lack moisture in winter are much more resistant to frost than those that overwinter in dry soil. Therefore, if we find that there is a drastic lack of water in the soil during the winter (which can happen) and the conditions allow it, it’s better to water the strawberries than not to water them.
