Cranberries: 1 plant. Well-rooted, potted, ready to plant.
– Can be planted almost all season long.
– Very fruitful, with small, light shoots, ideal for garden and home use.
– Fruits are ideal for drying and preserving.
Planting and care:
– A sunny or partially shaded place is recommended.
– The soil should be moist, rich in humus and very acidic (pH 3.5-4).
– Plants should be planted at least 30 cm apart.
– Tolerates occasional floods and low temperatures very well, but must be protected from drying out.
Fruits:
– Blooms from the end of June and bears fruit until November.
– Fruits appear on three-year-old shoots.
– The fruit is large, oval and juicy. Their skin is thin and waxy. Health benefits:
– Cranberries are an excellent source of fiber, vitamins and trace elements: sodium, potassium, iron, calcium and magnesium.
