Description
Variety characteristics:
- Growth: Strong and compact. The canes are sturdy, upright, with slightly arching tips.
- Resistance: Very resistant to frost and diseases. Does not suffer from cane dieback or fruit rot.
- Fruiting: A remontant variety – bears fruit on both first-year and second-year canes. Provides two harvests: the first in early summer and the second from late summer to autumn.
Fruits:
- Shape: Conical, medium-sized
- Color: Bright red, shiny
- Taste: Sweet, juicy, with a slight tang
- Use: Perfect for fresh eating, jams, freezing, and desserts
Cultivation:
- Soil: Fertile, well-draining, slightly acidic (pH 5.5-6.8)
- Watering: Regular watering, avoid waterlogging
- Location: Suitable for garden planting or growing in a pot on a terrace
Pruning:
- In spring, if planted in spring – cut canes to about 20 cm from the ground
- If planted in autumn, the first pruning should be done in early spring
