Description
- Description: One bare root red currants plant. Recommended for amateur planting and small commercial plantations, where harvesting is done by hand due to the very long clusters
- Fruiting: Large, attractive, red, slightly acidic fruits recommended for eating alone and in desserts, but also good for traditional preserves.
- Planting and care:
– plant in a sunny or semi-shaded location
– prefers fertile soil with a slightly acidic pH
– can be fertilized with biohumus - Pruning: till the fourth year only cultivation pruning (removing dry, broken and diseased shoots), most of the fruits formed on short shoots, which grow from three-year-old and older shoots.
