Description
10 healthy, strong, and well-rooted plants growing in pots. These are not “bare-root” plants
San Andreas is a popular American day-neutral strawberry variety, bred at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis, USA). It is known for its ability to produce fruit continuously from early summer until late autumn. The berries are very large, firm, and maintain their size throughout the entire season. They have a delicious, sweet flavor and excellent shelf life, making them ideal for fresh consumption and commercial transport.
This variety shows good resistance to common strawberry viruses and is highly tolerant to red spider mites. It has moderate resistance to powdery mildew and root diseases but lower resistance to frost damage, so winter protection is recommended in colder regions.
San Andreas strawberry plants are sold as healthy, well-rooted plug plants in multipot trays, ready for planting in open fields, tunnels, or home gardens.
